I was pleasantly surprised by our visit to Long Island City. It had been several years since I was there last & there are many trendy, new restaurants and amenities in the area. The hotel was small but very accommodating, clean, and well worth the $125 we paid a night. Close to transportation and the breakfast was adequate to hold us over until the afternoon.

We stayed here 1 night in December. The Hotel really gave us a Home feeling. The breakfast variety was great and the staff were very nice. Not too far away from the city. When we took UBER, it cost us about $40 1 way but the city is just THAT expensive (so if you are not from there be prepared for paying a lot on travel).
It was a great stay with a good view. I would definitely stay there again if I ever went back.

Visited NYC for short weekend trip from MD. Enjoyed the hotel a lot, very clean and staff was very attentive. Nice full service breakfast. Subway is 2 stops from Manhattan. I will be back this summer!!!

Our second stay here in past month -- the BPE ("best place ever" - well maybe but that is what we are telling all now) and we have stayed many places but the friendliness and professionalism of staff - led by Fabian - the cleanliness of room, functionality of room, room kitchen amenities, most comfy sheets, bright and airy breakfast area, actual ceramic plates and real silverware, best waffles - Unlike other hotels claims, expect surprises but they will be pleasant ones and all at a great price.

We loved that the subway was just a short stroll away. Missed having a restaurant in hotel, but there were 2 on same block and deli across the street. Great breakfast everyday. Staff was very friendly
