We stayed from 13 may 2014 for 6 nights in a (Executive Queen with Kitchenette and Balcony)
We paid euro 1050 for 6 nights, this is not very cheap!!but considering that we had the opportunity to cook something in the room, overall the price was reasonable.
Breakfast was included in the price and for us it was not as bad as described by other reviewers.
Nearby there is a supermarket where you can buy the necessary. The room is spacious as was the bathroom
unfortunately there is not bidet and shower is not flexble. Metro station is located 100 meters from which 2 stops you can reach the center, in the room there is a 32 – inch TV and good WI-FI
From JFK airport you can reach the hotel by metro and airtrain. Overall we enjoyed our stay

We recently stayed there during a trip to NYC. Hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Staff, especially Chris at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the breakfast that was included. Area felt safe and location is convenient to trains.

Room was big enough for a 7 night stay without becoming stir crazy. Only downside was the walls are paper thin. Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was just enough to start your day. Location wise, one block from the subway. The area looks a bit shady but looks deceive. I would stay here again.

We stayed two nights here on a trip to NYC. The location was good as it was close to the subway and the local neighborhood has tons of restaurants to try out within a few minutes' walk. The staff was very friendly and greeted us every time we came into the lobby. A basic breakfast is included (the coffee was very good). Our room was very small--it was apparently part of a larger room that was split into two. The result was a pretty cramped space with little room for suitcases or hanging out (not on the bed). Luckily, the bed was comfortable. There was a coffee maker in the room, but we had to put it on the floor to reach the outlet. If you're not accustomed to street noise, bring ear plugs as it's an active neighborhood and you can hear the elevated train throughout the night.

I stayed at Vetivel Hotel for the last three days for business. It was so close of everything that I really enjoyed the hotel location. Staff is extremely efficient, all of them, beginning with the Sales Manager Jensy de los Santos, who helped me doing my reservation and giving me a nice room location on the 6th floor, the front desk agents, specially Chris was also very helpful when needed, the bellman, everyone there is really nice.
Thank you so much for making my life easier and for your excellent service. I will definitely go back to Vetiver Hotel and if you are staying in Queens, this is the place you are looking for.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor. View is nicer!

Clean, tidy and great value for location to Midtown Manhattan.

Has all the basics that one needs for staying at a hotel, friendly staff, basic breakfast included and comfortable beds.

Close to a subway station with only two stops to fifth avenue Manhattan and under 10 mins journey to Times Square.

Only thing is not to expect anything premium about this hotel as it is relatively inexpensive. Room sizes are ideal for couples or maybe 3 people.
