“Family Wedding”
Reviewed September 20, 2011

My daughter decided to get married in NYC this summer (where her parents got married) and we needed to have a central location where all family and friends could stay over the 3 day event. The Four Points management and staff made our stay worth mentioning as they handled everything we handed to them effortlessly and with a smile as over 60 people had to transported back and forth to the different boroughs of NYC. They handled the transportation issue professionally and made sure evceyone arrived at the rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception on time. The rooms were impecable clean, with views of the city that were breathtaKING. subway walking distance and a short trip to get to downtown. Fully recommend this property for your stay in NYC as the Staff and Management treated us like family and took care of our nrrds.

I was looking for hotels for my wedding when I came upon the Four Points hotel in Long Island City - it was the perfect location, just outside of the city but close enough for our guests to still explore and enjoy Manhattan. We were greeted with outstanding customer service and it remained that way throughout the whole stay. Having most of my family from out of town I was impressed by how swiftly the concierge assisted in getting them to where they needed to be. The hotel rooms were very clean, with complimentary bottles of water which is always nice to stumble on, and the view of the city was breathtaking. When going back I will always book at this hotel, it was convenient, clean and away from all the hustle and bustle that is Manhattan.

Room Tip: You want to ask for the rooms with the city view - they are by far the best.

I usually don't boast about hotel stays, however, I recently booked a stay at this new hotel (which happens to be right across the bridge and one train stop away from NYC) with comfy beds, euro style bathrooms and gourmet dining which was inexpensive too). But the best deal was the breathtaking views of the city. I definitely suggest this hotel to everyone!

I stayed at this hotel for the easy trip into Manhattan for business. The hotel is new and it has parking as well as a gym. The rooms were clean and not small at all. The staff was very freindly and attentive. Not like what I read in previous reviews. The food at the restaurant was very good as well. Overall my stay here was very good and I think I found a new home on my future trips to NYC.

Room Tip: Book the Manhattan view room for a great view

I was travelling to the city. The rooms were wonderful as was the food. There was a great gym and the prices were very affordable. It is right by many great locations and commute to the city and pretty much anywhere else was extremely easy. I will be sure to return.

Room Tip: The rooms are all very nice.

I stayed at this hotel since it came highly recommended from some friends who always go to NYC .
Not far from the City Vibe ( one stop to Bloomie's) and everything else as I found out very soon from the friendly staff.
Had dinner a couple of times at the lobby restaurant . Very good filet mignon at $ 22.00 comes with professional service and a relaxing outdoor ambiance. I had a spacious room with fantastic views of Manhattan and free wi fi . Did all my work and communications from there. Great all glass shower doors and housekeeping was on top of things. For the money, staying in LIC can't get any better !

We booked a room here to take advantage of an extra night on a trip to the NY Metro area. The neighborhood is not Manhattan but has a friendly, safe, blue collar vibe and the hotel is a quick two block walk to the subway for a one stop ride to the upper east side or a two stop ride to grand central. We arrived hungry after a day of travelling and the restaurant staff provided a nice selection of tasty appetizers to tide us over until our dinner reservation later in the evening.
Four Points is not the Westin but this hotel is a nice, convenient, reasonably priced alternative to staying in Manhattan when visiting NYC.
