We visited NYC in Fall 2011. We have chosen this hotel with respect to value for money. It's location just next to the metro station Queens-bridge is an ideal place for paying less than in Manhattan and being there in 10 minutes. The hotel is nice, clean, with excellent view to Manhattan from the high floor rooms. Bathroom is awesome, beds are very comfortable as well. Only the carpet should have been cleaner. Also breakfast is a bit poor (donuts and yogurts at most)

Room Tip: Choose a room with city view, it worths

We stayed at BW Plus for 4 days in october 2010. The opening was quite recent and the rooms were in pristine condition as well the services offered: minibar, cab, breakfast, cleaning and internet. The subway station is 250 meters near and the vehicle acessibility quite efficient. It is situated between projects and street smart comes in handy.

I have stayed at this property several times but neglected to provide a review for my fellow Trip Advisor travellers. From check-in to check-out service was exceptional, the location to subways and proximity to Manhatten convenient, and overall a Best Western that provides a solid value for your budget. The WiFi was a little spotty on the upper floors but the room size was good for the NYC area and the in-room fridge was a nice bonus as was the continental breakfast and fitness center. Parking is a bit of a problem as it is first come first served, leaving you to find a spot on a side streets if no spots in the garage are available, but with the subway just a block away why bother with a car unless you have no choice. I will single out one staff member for his great customer service and local knowledge---Hugo. Should you need anything he would be your go-to person as he was a great resources person and suggested some terrific restaurants that delivered; the Manager was also available and helpful and I liked the fact that after only a couple of stays he recognized me and greeted me by my name. I recommend this property for its value, level of customer service and location.

Room Tip: If you are paying extra for a City View room, I would say that you will be disappointed as the view of Manhattan is directly in line with the Queensborough Bridge and the Con-Ed co-generation power facility--it is not much of a City view for the extra money.
