It isn't pretty but the food is very good - very popular with locals, business people and cab drivers, this unassuming diner is holding what is no doubt a prime real estate spot in Long Island City, an area now being developed with condos and restaurants.
Indian food with complex flavours, well priced. Everything I have had here is terrific and often superior to more expensive places - issue is the setting which is really not the nicest. So for a quick meal its great - when I am in NYC I try to go on weekends for brunch (there isn't a specific menu but its quieter and the parathas are terrific).
