We have eaten there twice & both times have been excellent. The latest was with 4 others. We had the Chef's table. We were presented with several spreads & plenty of different entrees. It was a great way to go.

Fantastic authentic Austrian food. Bread and spreads were great. Pork shank (part of the farmers plate) and weiner schnitzel were delicious. Knodel and spatule as sides were also excellent. Barely had room for dessert but it was well worth ordering anyway. Price was about right for a great meal.

This was our second time at Dano's and we had a terrific time on both occasions. Fun menu, great service and wonderful ambiance.

Sat outside on the patio on a beautiful day in the New York countryside. Best schnitzel I have ever had. The sausages and spreads were just great and the Austrian wine was a very pleasant surprise. I look forward to going back as soon as possible. Really good place.

Arrived at 5:30 pm just after a severe thunderstorm had rolled through, knocking out power for miles around. Were seated nevertheless, the floor-to-ceiling windows providing lots of light. The quiet of the room was refreshing. Got interesting cocktails, including a rhubarb sour, and a trio of unique "spreads" from the long list to go with the excellent bread. Gas ranges were operational, and the kitchen continued to produce expertly cooked and beautifully arranged food. Got the Austrian "bento box" which provides a great sampler of the house specialties. Electricity came back just as we were leaving. Dano's is great with or without!
