“Surprise find in Lockport.”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

We were on a stop in Lockport and was headed to a steakhouse when my husband spied this place and we decided to be adventurous and try it out. My son and daughter-in-law was with us and we all enjoyed our food. My husband had the calves liver, son, lamb chop and both of us gals had the lemon garlic chicken. We went in dressed very casual and felt a bit out of place with others more dressed up. The guests seemed to be more of an older age. The food was good as was the service.

“Fabulous”
Reviewed May 11, 2012

I have been going to Garlock's for over 30 years and it is still as wonderful as ever. The wait staff are friendly and attentive and the bar staff are like family. Best Manhattan anywhere! If you are looking for a romantic evening or a night out with children, it suits both. Priced so that you can keep coming back! I love it!

“You can count on a good meal here”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

Have been here many times over many years. Never disappointed. Great food, no matter what you get. Seafood, chicken, steak. Sides are always delicious too. The staff is always friendly. Usually in entertainment book too!

“WORST MEAL EVER”
Reviewed September 5, 2011

We'll ingore the grossly outdate decor...and focus on the food, which, sad to say, was absotlue wretched. We started with the house's "FAMOUS" cheese and crackers plate....it was abyssmal---individually wrapped saltines, with a few club crackers...half broken and most stale.....the "cheese" was a blob of spreadable orange yuck--velveeta with some shredded cheddar, perhaps? Next, we chose the salad...which turned out to be soup---asked for the dressing on the side....did not get it that way and waitress disappeared so quickly, I could not return it.....20-munutes later whens he checked on us...my soggy bowl of buttermilk racn soup with veggies was still sittign there.....onto the entre's---one 'special: sliced filet mignon with sauteed mushrooms---it was actually chunks (perhpas pulled off a kabob?) of grisly, dried-out, poor-quality (low grade sirloin?) meat with a side of cool broiled potatoes..but the garlic bread was fine....the second dish---also from the "specials"--was a mini surf and turf....lobster that was stough and chewy and inedible...and so-called filet medallions that were tough, overcooked, fatty and grisly---it was without a doubt the WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD and we will never return.....
