“nice setting”

We stayed here to try out our new trailer as it was October it was very quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are large and nice with trees and open areas. All the hookups worked great. and the wi-fi was an extra bonus also they have free cable TV with lots of channels. We were dissapointed at not having a sewer hookup but the second day a tractor came around with a pumpout on it and cleaned our tanks out .All these extras are at no added cost.We will go back.

Indeed, it is not what you might expect when looking for a resort. But if you just want to find a quiet and spacious camground with a relaxed atmosphere you may well like this one. Especially with kids. Lots of space to bike, play soccer, catch and throw a ball, there is a small basket ball court, a few outdated but okay playground "objects" for the younger ones. it has two ponds; one for the fishers (kids love it too, catching frogs with their nets), one for the swimmers (with life guard, alas, as we were not allowed to swim outside the lines, which provided for an "olympic sized pool" but still..). Showers and restrooms are clean, though a bit outdated like with most campgrounds. Depending on where you are the showers and/or restrooms can be a bit of a walk. There are quite a few seasonal campers that made it their home. We are not talking fancy trailers and the like, but we thought it was a very friendly atmosphere. Not sure if there are laundry facilities. We, a 9 and a 10 year old and their parents, traveling with an old Airstream liked it a lot.

Room Tip: This is no hotel but a campground.

This was a nice, family oriented campground! The lakes were great, the kids could go swimming or fishing whenever they wanted!! They caught some large fish, too!!! Clean showers and bathrooms, friendly staff, sites were clean and large...a nice place to take the family camping!!!

Just finished a 7 day stay at this 'campground'. We booked this in March and shame on us we did not get clarification from the booking that we would have 50 amps and a sewer hook up. We did express that we wanted 50 amps and a sewer hook up and based on the advertisments/web site this campground offered this. We were told they would give us the best they had.....which, since we had expressed our needs and had booked early.... we 'assumed' we would get. 'Wrong'. We were parked in a field. We had issues with the 30 amp electric hook up and could not run both air conditioners on our 35 foot RV with the 30 amps so we made the best of it. No sewer hook up and with 6 people in the RV we really needed this. It was great that they dumped the RV 3 times a week by coming around to your site but would have preferred the sewer hook up. We let the kids take showers in the RV and took our showers in their facility which was ok but not a 'resort' facility. The people we spoke to who ran the site were nice but I feel we were totally mislead on what they offered at this campground. Many campers/trailers/half cabins were full time and many were very run down. I have stayed in resorts and this is not a resort. A campground yes. The petting zoo is nice. The putt putt golf was sad and the kids only tried it once. Swimming pond is nice as a place to get wet when it is hot. The field we were camped in, had it rained, which it did not, thankfully would have been tough to get out of with our RV. I think it is too far from Niagara Falls to camp here when you are planning to go to the Falls multiple days. It was a low price but there is a reason for that. I would recommend you keep looking if you want to go to the falls..... We visited the Erie Canal which was interesting and had a good cave tour. Depends on what you are looking for when you are camping. We had 4 grandchildren and our daughter.... Would have preferred a better site. Oh well....live and learn. Next time we will go elsewhere.
