“Decent...maybe 3.5”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Had the back room for a private birthday party. Service was good, but the food coming out of the kitchen was slow. Nice little craft beer selection on tap. Food was good, not great. I had Fish and Chips which is my seafood restaurant judgement meal. If you don't make this well, I'm probably not coming back. It was not great. But the mussels were nice and my girl's lobster tails were quite good. Plastic plates and utensils are kind of a drag, but I get it. Took a quick look at the fresh fish in the market area. Nice selection; and obviously quite fresh.

“improved”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Used to go here multiple times a month. We stopped going a few years ago when prices increased, wait for the food became intolerable, and both portions and quality decreased, due to new ownership. Went there yesterday, all of the same problems existed, but the quality has improved. Would consider going back when craving seafood at lower prices than traditional seafood restaurants.

“A Weekly Tradition!”
Reviewed May 24, 2012

We go there once a week for seafood, because I don't like the muss & the fuss & the fish is the freshest fish anywhere! We only live 1/2 mile away but its convenient for many! Try it, they have no table service, you go up to the counter & order your dinner then they give you a silent buzzer & it lights up when your order is ready!

“Uniquely Pedestrian Atmosphere with Great Seafood”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

If you're staying in the Route 10/LIE, Hempstead, Babylon areas and want some local, fresh, fried seafood or a lobster roll or seafood salad, this is the place!

The food is fresh, generous, fast, and inexpensive. The seafood salads are made with an olive oil dressing which is light and tasty.

If you're looking for elegance or sophistication, go somewhere else. If you're really hungry and want to enjoy a NY summer beach tradition, this should be on your list.
