“Anniversary Weekend”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

The Power Station was celebrating some anniversary with tents of arts/crafts and food stalls. This was in addition to the normal review of the history of the site.

“Power Vista is for all ages”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

I grew up visiting the Power Vista and am proud to say it has stayed up with the times. Now, there are interactive exhibits for the younger crowd or young at heart- (just don't push the kiddies out of the way). The view of the gorge is breathtaking. The exhibits are informative and engaging. I return to see what is new. Always a great, FREE resource

Great views of the Niagara River Gorge. Informative displays of the Power Station in a
'self touring" facility.

“Super! A must visit for all!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

My business this week involved four days with NYPA, the New York Power Authority, right at the hydroelectric station. Being an engineer/geek I went past the visitors center every day on my way in to the plant. The visitors center is a mini science museum with fantastic views and many interactive exhibits, suitable for all ages. I really appreciate the effort that NYPA put into this attraction. Everybody uses electricity and they take for granted how it is generated. Here you get to learn the details!

One special mention. They have an exhibit featuring antique radios and a straight key where you can send Morse Code. I have been a ham (amateur) radio operator since 1971 so I sent CQ CQ and my call sign and walked away. A few minutes later I heard my call sign again! A ham from Canada was visiting at the same time and I made a new friend! Certainly a highlight I will remember from this trip.

Please take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and visit here, you won't be disappointed!

“Great For Kids! And It Is Free!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

there are so many attractions here at Niagria Falls, it can be difficult to see them all. from our experience we would recommend the following. by the city pass if you want to do the following. 1 lady of the mist boat tour. 2 the aquarium. 3 the children science museum. 4 the in town trolley. 5 the cave of the winds. if you do not have time to do several do not by the pass pay for the individual tickets. there is free parking at dusk to see the waterfalls. the power station for 9, 10 and 12 year olds was a fantastic experience. plenty of hands on exhibits, friendly staff and great Views.
