“Worth A Stop, The Jello Museum.”
Reviewed October 17, 2011

If you want to learn about Jello or some of the other industries in LeRoy, NY head on over to the Jello Museum where just about any question about LeRoy or Jello can be answered. Don't forget to head downstairs for more displays from the area. Be sure to get a "Rough on Rats" T-Shirt while you're at it. A roadside attraction worth stopping in for if you're in the area.

“JELL-O AGAIN... Great little museum”
Reviewed September 29, 2011

The ladies we met who run the museum are pasionate about JELL-O and their town. The small museum is packed with JELL-O artifacts and the gals can answer any question you may have about the product which was invented and manufactured in LeRoy. The museum also has a collection of other products that were manufactured in LeRoy over the past 100 years from rat bait to plows. The historic LeRoy house is also quite interesting. We spent a couple of hours here and had a ball. It is worth the trip. Just don't say, "General Foods".

“Fun, interesting and good value”
Reviewed July 4, 2011

The Jell-o Museum in Le Roy is easy to miss - the only indication off the highway is a weather beaten billboard on the I90. But it's well worth a quick stop at exit 47 to see the Jell-o Museum in pretty Le Roy, NY. We arrived right at opening, where we received a friendly greeting from the staff. A museum tour kicks off with an entertaining orientation presentation, followed by free time to roam the exhibits. There's a scavenger hunt trivia sheet for kids to complete (correct forms qualify for a Jell-o prize at the end), and there's even a transportation museum in the basement of the heritage building featuring vehicles and conveyances from the early part of the 20th century. Our visit took about 45 minutes, not including a walk in the pleasant gardens around the building. Note that the museum is not immediately visible from the main road. It's tucked in behind the Le Roy House. Just park on the street and head down the path along the gardens (just shy of the baseball diamond out back). See the official Jell-o Museum website at http://www.jellogallery.org for more information!

“Definitely worth the money”
Reviewed July 1, 2011

For the price of admission (4 bucks or 3.50 CAA/AAA), the Jell-O Gallery Museum is worth the price of admission. I would definitely plan on only being there about an hour to an hour an a half max though, so do not plan on an all day experience. The main disappointment with the experience is that there is no Jell-o to buy, or even a pudding pop! Come on, whatever has to be done to get some actual product to the consumer, do so! The cheesy merchandise, though kitschy, is still no substitute for JELL-O. The free admission to the Le Roy house next door too, makes for a pleasurable and fun experience for all!

“Our Review Of The Jell-O Gallery Museum”
Reviewed June 17, 2011

if anyone's "jiggled up" about jello, then why not learn about it at the Jell-O Gallery Museum in Le Roy, New York. This nice women will start the tour explaining the history of Jell-O and then, the rest of the tour is yours. You can see pictures of jell-O mix boxes, Fake jell-O, Jell-O molds and a "Bill Cosby" Commercial of jello. what I like is the tv commercial and seeing all the Jell-O molds, what I don't like is that there's no free samples :(. It's ok, good for a rainy day activity. Enjoy all you Jell-O Lovers.
