White linens, superb cuisine from northern Italy, deferential and unobtrusive service--all with prices to match, but if you want the best, it is worth the price of admission! Really superb food.

The food is very good, the ambiance is lovely, but it's the service that really sets it apart. You ask for something, and it's there faster than you could have imagined. That is so rare these days.

We just loved lunch here! Service was perfect, food tremendous. This is real Italian, no cheap red sauce and cheese. Wines by the glass were great. Would totally recommend.

Spent a week in Manhattan and had a farewell lunch here and I was so glad that one of my closest friends suggested it. This week also lunched at Maialino Trattoria of the Danny Myers' emporium of restaurants and at Becco, among Lidia Bastianich's digs, and this restaurant can hold court with the very best that Manhattan has to offer. If some peeps say it isn't great and Larchmont has better restaurants, then everyone should get thee to Larchmont and sample them all, as this is a cut above so many more expensive and trendier restaurants that NYC has to offer. We walked in as a group of four, including a five year old. She got picked up early for a movie date, but not before devouring her pasta made to order, which she proclaimed "really, really good!" and the rest of us lingered and lingered over three courses and a couple of bottles of wine. To start the bread is really excellent and so is the olive oil and let's face it, first impressions are everything. The soups, including minestrone, ravioli and pasta e fagioli were divine! The seafood risotto and the shrimp and pesto pasta were incredible, so much better than words can express. As mains, we had two different sea bass plates and a veal scalopinni and all were outstanding. The Maitre d' is very charming and suave and the waiters were very nice, efficient, unobtrusive and spoke our language (Spanish). We loved the atmosphere and I really think that we will all be back, even if we have to take the Metro North from Manhattan on our next visit. We don't balk at taking the train to Peter Luger and this is the same kind of melt in the mouth experience. Lunch prices for three courses were unbelievably reasonable, but shhhhh, don't tell the owners. If I could give six stars, I would. Thank you for a very memorable meal!
