“Enjoy outdoor seating at Espana Wine & Tapas”
Reviewed September 15, 2011

We've been wanting to try this place out for a while, and wish now that we hadn't waited so long! Went last night for the first time and enjoyed sitting outdoors along Larchmont Avenue (which was pretty quiet). They have a very nice Prixe Fixe menu on weeknights for $24.95, and you have many mouth-watering dishes from which to choose in three different courses. We had the calamari (good) and a house salad (small but quite fresh with delicious, light dressing). For entrees, we had the seafood risotto, and the prawns over saffron rice. The risotto was delicious although a bit heavy on the salt. The prawns were heavenly. Wine list offers plenty of choices without being overdone. Service was impeccable. A lovely meal experience!

“Great Tapas”
Reviewed March 23, 2011

Great Tapas menu, expertly presented and preformed. Excellent service, and great wine list. Didn't like our meat based paella though, maybe the seafood one is better.
We had octapus, chorizo, clams, and ? something else (all great).
Only reservation, don't do the meat paella (did I spell that right?).

“Don't hesitate. Go.”
Reviewed January 4, 2011

I went to this restaurant because I had a Groupon. I have tried tapas places in the past and been disappointed, so I had been hesitant to try it. I shouldn't have waited! We ate:

Fried artichokes
Shrimp and ricotta Canneloni (I don't remember what this was actually called)
Hangar steak skewers with warm potato salad
Torta Espanola (potato, egg and onion torte)
Braised duck and wild mushroom risotto

The torta was not wonderful, but everything else was just fabulous.
