“Good food, good service”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

I went to lunch at Crossroads with some friends on a Wednesday. When we arrived we were treated very nicely. We ordered from the specials that day. The tomato soup was delicious and so was the ham and cheese grilled sandwich. The owner came to our table spoke with us and served us. The atmosphere was pleasant and though it was cold and snowing, it was warm inside with the fire place going.
We all decided we would go back.

“Nice local place.”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

We have eaten there a few times. The menu is small, but overall the food is pretty good. The bar is always decent, and it appears that the owners are making the environment to feel as if something is always going on there. Looks like they are big into community development.

“Neighborhood Bar & Grille with Great Food”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

Crossroads has 3 distinct areas: bar, year-round dining room, and warm weather porch dining. The bar is friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. It's a 30 years old and up type of bar. It has live music on weekends. The service is very good. We enjoy the food, which is mainly "comfort" food: meatloaf, ribs, hamburgers, pasta, chicken wings, haddock, sandwiches, etc. All of it is flavored well and tasty. There are nightly specials. Saturday's prime rib is especially delicious. The portions are generous. The house wines are very nice. The decor is not fancy, but it's not the type of place you'd dress up to dine in. Go, relax, have some great food.

“Nice try”
Reviewed November 3, 2011

Although the owner, Jay, is a Culinary Institute graduate and he tries really hard, I've never been happy with the food. Most everything is deep-fried. The specials, like last night's prime rib looked good so stay off the menu when you order. The atmosphere is loud and friendly with great service and inexpensive wine prices. They have live music on weekends and it seems to be a locals hang-out. When I walked in, all the guys sitting at the bar turned their heads. I expected someone to yell "NORM!" So if you want some fun and don't care about healthy food this is the place for you.
