Not sure what some people expect, but this a bar not a four star restaurant. Above average bar food some a bit different then the ordinary, but if in town
for a few days or more its a great change of pace
from the same old same old. Nice variety of beers.
We have been there twice, I would definitely go again. One negative is that its usually extremely busy so expect to wait at least 30 mins if going during peak travel times.

While reviewing menus online we found Lisa G's and were intrigued by some of their dishes so we decided to try it on our last night in Lake Placid. It was a Monday night and the place was packed, there was a wait for tables by 6:30. We started out with the wings, which were very tasty. For our entrees our son had a burger, which he enjoyed very much, and our daughter got the pepperoni pizza, which was also very good. My wife got the Big Shrimpin' pizza and was very pleased. The shrimp on it were very small but the combination with arugula and manchego cheese made up for it. I opted for the Moroccan burrito but wasn't too impressed with that choice, it seemed to be lacking something. The room we were in was noisy but it was full and its more of a bar food type place. We would definitely eat there again.

When we first got into town and got all settled in we decided to take a little trip and go to Lisa G.'s for a bite to eat. They have a very eclectic menu. The food was very good, most of us had a type of burger. Our waitress was very fun and entertaining. The prices weren't too expensive and the setting is beautiful

True to what it says on its web site, Lisa G's is a place where locals hangout, giving this pub/restaurant a rather warm and laid-back feel. The decor of the restaurant is quite interesting, the vibe lively, the servers warm & friendly. Our server Leanne was prompt & attentive and shared some interesting stories of her own. As far as food is concerned, the hot cider was quite good (we were there in March). Veg shepherds pie and Pirogis were alright, as long as you don't expect authentic pirogis or pies!
Would go back as there were other things on the menu that seemed interesting and the vibe is rather appealing. A good way to spend the evening in a ski town that all but shuts come sun-down.

We ate here before hiking Cascade and the experience started great- beautiful atmosphere, the dishes coming out looked fantastic.

However, the chicken sandwich we ordered wasn't cooked (pink). By the time we could tell our waiter (it was packed and he was busy), we were ready to go. I told him and they didn't hesitate to refund us the meal.

I would give them a second chance, the salads coming out looked amazing and I think that would have been a better choice for us.
