Let's start with dessert. The Ice Cream Sandwich was huge - two delicious, large, home-made chocolate chip cookies with a thick layer of ice cream - enough for two to share. Other than that, an eclectic menu, running from pizza to vegetarian dishes. Haddock had more than enough batter, but the fish was moist and accompanying greens and sweet potatoes were good. Eggplant "meatballs" over spaghetti was an interesting vegetarian choice - could have used more eggplant in the balls, which resembled falafel more than eggplant. Very enthusiastic service. Extensive choices of craft beers on tap.

Good food in a vibrant saloon atmosphere with an eclectic menu. This restaurant has a great many followers because the owner thinks 'out of the box' with fun, different offerings. Appetizers such as Feta Cheese Treat that has a spicy marinade, broiled and served over Arugula with grilled bruschetta (deliciously savory but not for the feint of heart). Sandwiches such as Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with black pepper mayo and dill pickles on top (a lunchtime favorite but I recommend adding the house aioli which has a real kick to add some more flavor). She offers unordinary dishes such as a sandwich with Kielbasa sausage, sautéed peppers & onions on a toasted baguette with smoked mozzarella, or a Moroccan Burrito with Chickpeas, Spinach, Roasted Red Peppers, Feta, Lemon, Toasted Cumin & topped with Tzatziki. And on and on. The Eggplant Parmesan is perfectly portioned and thinly layered with homemade marinara topped with pesto. The Open-Faced Steak Sandwich with spinach and garlic aioli is very good. The restaurant is popular for fresh cut french fries with the garlic mayo dip and chicken wings. The latter offered in styles; Teriyaki with Wasabi Dip, Greek with Feta Dip, Buffalo and BBQ. Plenty of choices in a casual atmosphere. Weekend nights can be very busy with long waits so get there early or sidle up to the long saloon bar. The owner is very open and gracious, professional and knows the business inside and out. She wants her customers to enjoy their food and experience and keeps everyone coming back.

We went for drinks and snacks to this place because it was close to our accommodation. The restaurant is very dimly lit so it's hard to read a menu. In fact we watched somebody at the next table using a cell phone to read it. We only ordered wings, calamari and nacho chips, beer and a glass of red wine.
The food was ok but nothing more. They had lots of beer to choose from. The price was between $ 5 and $ 6 for the special brews and $ 8 for a glass of wine which seemed a bit too steep. The service was not very attentive. All in all it was an average experience.

We ate at Lisa G's three times this week (October) just for their hot wings which IMO are some of the best around. I live out of state and couldn't wait to try their wings again. Ask for them extra crispy. Monday nights are wing night if you order them at the bar. Service was good and the drinks were also good. The bread pudding with white chocolate and caramelized sugar is delicious.
