“The final outing”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

The one big hit item that transferred over from the Previous restaurant ( sweet potato fries ) that has attracted us to the cowboy has changed to our dislike. When I received my SP fries something was not right, My wife and I asked the waitress " has the sweet potato fry recipe changed " ? Her reply was we have a new fryer and went back to check with the chef. Apparently the sweet potato fry recipe changes with the type of meal you order, i told her these most definitly don't work for
us, sorry I don't buy it and if so this should be mentioned on he menu. No offer to bring me out the original SP Fries or any remedy. All Done, No More.

“Great food, slow service”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

The food was amazing. We got the Asian BBQ pork loin And morrocan steak special. For a starter we had the jerk chicken spring rolls. All were fantastic. The service was on the slower side but so weren't all the other local places we have been. Off the main road but definitely worth the walk :) yum yum! We wish we could have licked our plates!

“Uniquely yummy!”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at a condo across the street from Cowboy. We saw the Cowboy, thought it was a dive bar and joked we'd hang out there for a drink. Someone who owns one of the condos recommended Cowboy as a top place to eat in LP.

Based on his recommendation and our short commute across the street, we decided to give it a go. My husband, parents, sister, and our 3 and 1 yr old went for dinner and it was a great surprise! The drinks are fabulous (the Fresh Basil cocktail with gin, basil, and St Germain was so refreshing!). I had a salmon special. I cook salmon at home all the time and rarely order it out but this dish was so unique I couldn't resist! The empanadas were amazing too. Service was better than some top notch places we've been to at home on Long Island.

We will definitely return to eat here on our trip next year!

“Value and good food”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Tucked away from main strip , welcoming staff and great starters--try the jerk chicken. Local beers on stock as well as usual, friendly and very reasonably priced with good sized portions but not standard 'Cowboy food', saw some people coming in expecting loads of steaks from the size of the people!, then left when seeing the more sophisticated menu.

“Love this place!”

This is our second yr going to the cowboy. If you are a. 1st timer, you MUST try the carribean spring rolls! Then my absolute favorite is the jerk chicken salad. Most amazing salad ever, and comes with a small piece of their famous jerk chicken.
