“Best breakfast with friendly service”
Reviewed January 20, 2010

Four of us decided to try Chair ^ after reading all of the reviews here. We all tried something different, and it was all freshly prepared, and wonderful. My omelet (a choose your own ingredient delight with spinach, feta, chevre, peppers, pesto, tomatoes) was perfectly prepared. Not wanting to miss the sweet potato pancake by choosing an omelet, I was able to get 1 pancake for a small upcharge. I then had to fend off my husband as he tried to get my pancake, which was scrumptious. As was his smoked trout and egg special. And everything else-even the coffee and tea selection. Thanks to all who sent us here.

“Great food and atmosphere; be patient for good food”
Reviewed January 7, 2010

Wonderful food. Not just another yummy breakfast place...this food was fresh and gourmet. Just be prepared to wait a while. There are only 4 or 5 tables there. Staff and owner very welcoming!

“Gourmet sandwiches in a casual setting”
Reviewed December 27, 2009

We stopped in at Chair 6 for lunch while touring the Olympic venues and were very pleased to find the gourmet selection of sandwiches. They also have breakfast and salad menu, but we opted for the sandwiches, which were just what we needed - a light and healthy meal.

The restaurant is a bit unassuming from the outside. It blends in as a house so we missed it the first time we went by. There isn't much seating inside, but people are pretty quick to eat and move on. The service is friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food.

Definitely a good choice for something quick, light and tasty.

“first time visit excellent!!”
Reviewed October 20, 2009

High marks on this small eatery!
Pros & cons:
PROS:
-- they offer green mountain coffee while you wait (self serve with real cream, sugar.
green mountain is one of the best coffees!)
--you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table (efficient and quicker).
--REALLY GOOD TASTING FOOD AND HOMEMADE BREADS.
--wide variety of gourmet dishes and the breakfast selection looked really delicious.
(I got the salmon omelet...FANTASTIC!! everyone loved their dish too)
--super friendly staff, very cozy atmosphere. Small but cozy.
--bottomless cup of coffee, but self-serve.
CONS:
--small dining room (sits maybe 16-20 people, so you might have to wait if it's a busy time).
--If it's a busy time the food may take a little longer to be served, but the quality makes up for it.
--blink and you'll miss the cafe' It's not a store front, it's a regular house with a "Chair 6" sign in front, so look for a no-frills "HOUSE" (just a head's up on that one).
--breakfast runs between 7-12$ (I think it was). just a "little" on the high side, but since all ingredients are top notch and high quality, it's actually rather less expensive if you figure it that way.
