We needed a spot where we could all be together to hang out and socialize for a long weekend, we are a large family visiting Lake Placid for a foliage motorcycle ride through the mountains...THIS HOME WAS PERFECT for us..first of all, IT WAS SPOTLESS !!! you could eat off the floors !!! no kidding !!! It has several bedrooms so each couple had a room, enough bathrooms so no waiting for a shower and there were plenty of clean towels...several beautiful sitting areas inside the home with a great front porch and a giant dining room where all nine of us sat and ate together on Saturday evening...the home is old and the love it takes to maintain a home of this size is very apparent...it's a home you wish you grew up in !!! We walked to dinner in town and the house in right in the middle of the entire game here, you could walk to shops, restaurants, the lake, the ice arena...we arrived late Friday night after a long and cold ride and the lights were left on for us just like we were coming home, AND we were able to park all 4 motorcycles in the garage, PERFECT ! The owners are very nice and most professional to work with. We will certainly be back !!! PB, Chelsea, VT
