We had gone to Delta Blue one time before for just the music and enjoyed the venue. On this visit, we were able to have some dinner prior to the music starting at 9 PM. This is a "rustic" bar/grill in the Adirondack mountains. The theme is "woodsy" because it is located inside the "Northwoods" Inn. Very casual place and local watering hole on the Main St. of Lake Placid. Both times we have been there the place was packed and the waitresses were on the "run". Under those conditions, the service was okay-they tried to get you your drinks and food in a timely manner. On this visit, I had the TOLO entree salad, which was delicious, but a bit pricey at $13.00. Maybe add a piece of cornbread? My hubby had the Philly Steak Po' Boy and added fries for $2.00. His dinner came to $12.95. His meat was well seasoned and a good portion. The fries were homemade and very good. Wine was $6.00 a glass and soda was $2.50 which included a refill. When the music started at 9 PM and the dinner crowd thinned out, we were able to table hop for a better view of the stage. On our night, we saw a great group who played the blues with excellent guitar work. Dinner and great music for $40.00. What a great date night.
