We came here as part of a timeshare exchange. It was a delightful experience. We've never been in the area before and this was a great introduction. Our unit was very spacious and had everything we needed. Some of the kitchen appliances and utensils need updating but overall, it was fine. The resort staff is terrific and very helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to come back. We really enjoyed it.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit overlooking Mirror Lake. The 'townhome' is very spacious. We were there end of April - so it was quiet. The unit has everything you need. We were extremely happy with the location of our assigned unit and took advantage of the most spectacular views at sunrise and sundown. We walked around the lake (3 miles) and walked to the many little shops and restaurants. Took a day to drive to Lake George - nice drive and visit on a rainy day.

Room tip: Ask for a unit overlooking Mirror Lake.

Sauna is a bonus, our rooms were spacious and clean. It was damp and raining the weekend spent there. There are shops/outlets, bars and restaurants along the Main Street. Better to visit here during the summer or early spring/autumn. The beach/lake area looks nice.

Room tip: They are all the same.

Large, nicely equipped units with a hot tub and sauna on the 1st floor. Backs up to the golf course, Many went snow shoeing and cross country skiing on the course. Easy walking distance to down town with lots of pubs and restaurants. The Olympic skating center is only a few blocks away. Whiteface and the other Olympic sites are an easy drive away.

I enjoyed the spacious, lofty, comfortable two bedroom unit. The fireplace, as noted in a placard close to the stone outcropping in which it is ensconced, is wood-burning, which makes it almost antique. The "personal" sauna in the 1st floor bathroom is a unique feature that I have not encountered in any other resort, hotel, or timeshare. Parking is available right outside the units, which have the look of townhouses, and dot the landscape in an uncrowded fashion.

The Village of Lake Placid was at our doorstep, but the resort was still extremely private, tucked away in a golf course setting with plenty of scenery. Whiteface Mountain, with its Olympic legacy, is about a twenty-five minute drive, and plenty of breathtaking scenery abounds on the drive in-between. Don't miss the Palace Theater and the Olympic Ice Center, which hosts the 1932 and 1980 ice rinks!
