“Small, but packed with lots of cool Olympic artifacts and memorabilia.”

Okay, so the place isn't very big. Granted. But where else can you go to see a relay torch from every Winter Olympics since 1980? Where else can you see a comprehensive collection of authentic Winter Olympic medals? No where else that I know of, and seeing those things alone is worth the price ($6) of admission.

“So much great history and memorabilia!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2012

The museum is filled with so much memorabilia especially from the 1932 and 1980 Lake Placid Olympics. We also viewed a 10 minute film on the highlights from the two Olympics including facts regarding the 'miracle on ice' 1980 hockey game. It's great to see the different masks, uniforms and also the medals handed out at each of the Olympics. Great experience which shouldn't be missed. Great idea to purchase the Olympic Passport at a reasonable price so you can visit all the great events throughout Lake Placid.

“Neat to See”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2012

The museum is small, but has cool stuff. It is worth a visit - see the 1980 arena where the Miracle on Ice took place. Country costumes, old bobsleds, pretty neat if you watch the winter olympics!

“Needs a facelift”

Definitely showing signs of aging. Exhibits need updating. I would have been disappointed if I paid the $6 entrance fee instead of having it included in the olympic passport.
