“Dining somwhat like of bar scene.”

Not impressed with the atmosphere. Had the ribs which was great and got more that I expected. a little distance from the Golden Arrow Lakeside resort. Walked there since there is limited parking there. Great beer selection. Not really for family dining.

Hello Joe - thanks for taking the time to write about the Pub, and for your four star review. Regarding your 'not for family dining comment', I just wanted to point out that we have three floors of dining, each with a different feel. I am guessing you ate on the first floor, which is certainly more of a bar area. The second floor and third floor have more of the brewpub/restaurant feel. In fact the third floor has a cool kids room where children under 10 can occupy themselves with some fun activities while the adults enjoy their food and a brew or two. I hope you will venture onto the other floors when back in LP. Thanks again. Chris Ericson, Owner and Brewmaster, LPP&B.

“A great place to eat”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We decided to swing by as we were staying at the Hampton Inn right next door. This decision was not a bad one by far. It's your standard pub and bar when you walk in. We asked if we could sit outside which is on the second level so that we could enjoy the view of Mirror Lake. On the menu they offer a sampler of their very own micro brew, 6 4oz glasses...sweet. The food was good and nicely portioned. Our server was fast and friendly. Bathrooms were clean. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere.
At the far back of the restaurant you can see the big vats were the beer is being made. Really nice. Below on the first floor was the bar area. Not really sure about it as we did not venture inside.

We would definitely stop by again if and when we return to the area.

“Liked the Beer, So-so Food”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

Perfect location next to Mirror Lake, with three floors of seating - although it is confusing. Is floor one an Irish Bar and floor two and three Lake Placid Brewery? Really liked the beer but food was almost too predictable. And the place is noisy despite not even being crowded. We sat by a window and watched the people on the deck warmed by the sun, cooled by overcast skies, then scattered by a freakish hailstorm. Alas, this was the most exciting thing about this visit. Too bad, we had heard people bragging about this restaurant.

“good food, great beer”

I had a salad with a large portion of salmon added for only $5 more. It was a really satisfying meal. My husband had barbequed ribs !/2 rack. There was plenty to eat and it was very good.
