We usually dine here when in Placid, but you have to go early. Menu is decent, mostly pub food without too much diversity. French Onion soup was touted to be the best, yet was very watery and lacked flavor. Caesar Salad was fresh and offered large chunks for romaine. Fish Fish was just that, a piece of fish deep fried and tossed with Buffalo sauce. The beers are close to style and flavorful. The place is very lively due to it's location in town and with abundant parking, yet it's odd since it sits right on top of the National Sports Academy. The waitress was very attentive for a while, but then got overwhelmed with the weekend tables.
