I can not understand the positiv recommondations. Maybe 10 years ago... the hotel looks very bad and everything seams broken paint is comming of the walls and the 1st floor is unfinished. Worst of all is the Restaurant unless you like dirty plates and salat from old fruits. We changed in the evening as it feels just dirty.

Tinerhir has little good accommodation to choose from, whilst the Riad Agraw is fairly central, is of traditional Moroccan riad design and is run by a very nice and well respected family. After staying in 4* hotels at the start of my trip, I found the comforts of the Riad Agraw to be very basic. However, once you get used to burying yourself in bed under thick blankets on cold February nights and only really having hot water of the mornings, this accommodation becomes quite acceptable. Stayed 3 nights and I was made most welcome by the family, who endeavoured to be as helpful as possible throughout my stay. Breakfasts were ok albeit again basic in choice. Didn't consider the electrical fittings to be too marvellous, but this is not unusual for Morocco. Towels, toilet tissue and soap were all supplied albeit not top notch but then the price of staying each night although average for Tinerhir is quite reasonable. I was also allowed free use of the internet terminal on reception which was a bonus. Would I recommend staying here? Well certainly , if you are prepared to rough it for a budget price or wish to enjoy Moroccan hospitality at its best in a traditional style home. Tinerhir is a town with plenty of character and despite what Lonely Planet and others have said, for me it offered far more. With the Todra Gorge and the palmeries to explore, along with clambering in terrain around the town I enjoyed my 3 days there. Just comes as a bit of a shock when you first arrive.

Close to the bus station, just walk left 200 meters and look for the sign. Basic but acceptable. Good breakfast. Owner did a couple of things (charging me a booking.com fee, telling us an inflated price for the taxi to Todra Gorge) that didn't exactly build trust.
