If you want excellent fine Italian dining then Reginato's is your place. As I walked into the Reginato;s a waiter stepped out of the kitchen and a breeze of garlic and parsley floated into the foyer. I knew I was about to experience some real Italian cuisine. To start of with I ordered a stuffed portebello mushroom in a red pepper sauce, the amount of taste that was in the slightly spicy mushroom was unbelievable. The next course was a homemade lentil soup that was among the best I have ever had. This was followed by an intermizzo a small amount of sorbet to cleanse the palate before the main course. Then came the entrée calamari fra diavlo with a side of spaghetti bolognese. The calamari fra diavlo is a classic Italian dish with calamari and mussels with a spicey version of marinara sauce. The calamari was cooked perfectly not overdone like so many places where it comes out hard and chewy. The side dish of pasta was quite a surprise in itself it had a delicious meat sauce on it and was cooked el dente as if I was in Venice. I ended the meal with a homemade tiramisu that had ladyfingers that were dipped in espresso but not soaked something hard to find if you are not in rome or New York City. I hope if you are in the area you will visit this traditional family owned restaurant, and enjoy it as much as I have
