As others have stated in their reviews, this is an excellent hotel giving a level of service and comfort far above what I expected. The rooms are basic, but a good size with fridge and safe plus a large comfortable bed. They are also spotlessly clean and cleaned every day without fail.
The staff are all friendly and personable and couldn't so enough for us.
One thing that did annoy me was the prices quoted by Thomas Cook for the excursions. A day's creek fishing was touted by TC at £45 per head. We got a taxi to Denton Bridge (where all the creek boats go out from) and negotiated a full day for 2000 dalasi (£34) for two of us. I know TC need to cover their insurance costs etc, but a mark up of 60% seems rather over the top. The same was true for the other excursions, so shop around. Bartering over the prices with the locals is mandatory and great fun. Making a final offer and walking away if it wasn't accepted seemed to work as they always called us back and accepted our offer :)More
