We're happy that we could make your stay just what you were looking for. It doesn't get much prettier than a fresh snow on the mountains!
I recently stayed at this hotel with my father, brother, and 2 daughters. We are from Indiana and I work at a super 8 in the town I live and booked it through the website. The front desk was AWESOME! We had to go to New York due to my grandmother past away and we came for the funeral. The staff was like family. We had 2 dogs with us and my dads dog is a little dog and is deaf and my dog is a small one also and she was blind.great combination.lol The front desk offered to watch the dogs for us while we was at the funeral so they did not get scared , which way beyond her job description. The houskeeper, dont know her name, she was was great and very friendly. They had the continental breakfast and it was suppose to close at 9am but they kept it open longer so my dad could eat. We are planning on going back up there this summer and we are def staying here again! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The sad part is we stopped at 2 other super 8 in lake george and Glens falls and the one was closed and the other one had a foul odor in it as soon as u walked in, and the front desk person did not know anything about what was around the area and didnt go out of his way to help with anything, so I am glad we did not stay there and chose the best one ever!! Thank you guys , you are all GREAT! See you this summer!!
It was our pleasure to be able to provide a safe , comfortable atmosphere for your family during a stressful time. Our staff are animal lovers, and we enjoy meeting the pets we have stay with us. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip, and hopefully we can show you our beautiful Lake George and Adirondack Mountains!
We were very pleased with the accommodations and all the amenities . We will be using this same place next year.
We're so glad that you're coming back!
It was our first time staying at a Super 8 and I must say this experience made me a believer! The room was large, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. Even though it was quiet this time of the year, the staff (Michele) was nevertheless SUPER attentive and helpful, and what made a real difference was that her warmth was genuine, which made us feel so welcomed. It was one of the few dog-friendly places in the areas, and the price was very affordable. It was close to all the sights in the area so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything at all, even for a short weekend getaway. The free breakfast was a nice bonus too (they really didn't have to that), along with the 24-hour free coffee/tea service. Overall this was one of the best part of our trip and we will definitely choose to stay there again!
Thank you for taking the time to respond. Feedback like yours makes us feel appreciated, and willing to go the extra mile. Hope to see again soon.
The outside of the hotel has a log cabin feel; staff was VERY pleasant and made sure you new they were there 24/7. All rooms have two beds; they didn't have any king size beds; Adirondack furniture in the room: 2chairs, small circular table and luggage stand. Bathroom was standard, amenities in the bathroom were: hairdryer (didn't use); small bars of soap and shampoo (no conditioner ladies). On the table in the room they had coffee and tea. In the lobby they had couple coffees and decaf, tea, and hot chocolate; vending machine with snacks and beverages; ice machine. We were on the second floor (I don't know if there was an elevator as when we were given our room keys on checking in, they told us to take the stairs that were right there off the lobby. There is a dish of hard candies on the check in desk and right off the lobby is where a free breakfast is available for all guests, they serve between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.: we didn't eat there as we had other plans made with other family members at another place....though saw the various cereals and pastries, toaster waffles, juices, fruit snack packages...again the 'breakfast room' had Adirondack furniture as did the lobby and out on the front covered 'porch'.... Packaged mint on each pillow in the rooms. Our room was clean, EXCEPT the carpet needed vacuuming, not sure if the white specks on the carpet were tissues or 'lint' from the bedding.... We stayed in Room 202. Quite rooms. TV, phone and alarm clock on the night stand between the beds. The room could use an extra outlet or two, luckily my husband had an extension cord and a multi outlet plug in in his suitcase so we could plug in my CPAP machine, our cell phone chargers, and his Kindle. Would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. We were in town for a wedding at Echo Lake Lodge (family members that did stay at Echo Lodge were not impressed by the cabins; especially given the price).
