The outside of the hotel has a log cabin feel; staff was VERY pleasant and made sure you new they were there 24/7. All rooms have two beds; they didn't have any king size beds; Adirondack furniture in the room: 2chairs, small circular table and luggage stand. Bathroom was standard, amenities in the bathroom were: hairdryer (didn't use); small bars of soap and shampoo (no conditioner ladies). On the table in the room they had coffee and tea. In the lobby they had couple coffees and decaf, tea, and hot chocolate; vending machine with snacks and beverages; ice machine. We were on the second floor (I don't know if there was an elevator as when we were given our room keys on checking in, they told us to take the stairs that were right there off the lobby. There is a dish of hard candies on the check in desk and right off the lobby is where a free breakfast is available for all guests, they serve between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.: we didn't eat there as we had other plans made with other family members at another place....though saw the various cereals and pastries, toaster waffles, juices, fruit snack packages...again the 'breakfast room' had Adirondack furniture as did the lobby and out on the front covered 'porch'.... Packaged mint on each pillow in the rooms. Our room was clean, EXCEPT the carpet needed vacuuming, not sure if the white specks on the carpet were tissues or 'lint' from the bedding.... We stayed in Room 202. Quite rooms. TV, phone and alarm clock on the night stand between the beds. The room could use an extra outlet or two, luckily my husband had an extension cord and a multi outlet plug in in his suitcase so we could plug in my CPAP machine, our cell phone chargers, and his Kindle. Would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. We were in town for a wedding at Echo Lake Lodge (family members that did stay at Echo Lodge were not impressed by the cabins; especially given the price).
