Great location with fantastic view of lake. Server was very friendly and food was served in a timely manner. Food was ok and the bill was quite expensive compared to finer dining we visited that week, but realize you are paying for the prime location. We also substituted chips for sweet potato tots with melba sauce, which cost extra all around (they should give you a choice). My one real complaint was the steamer clam appetizer. The clams were very dirty....the were not cleaned well at all. Would not order those again. I stopped eating them because I was afraid...others in my party ate them though and were fine...place is spotless and portions good...just realize what kind of place you are going to....we still enjoyed ourselves.

We heard mixed reviews of this restaurant, but our experience was nothing but terrific! The Prince Edward Mussels appetizer were out of this world! The mixed drinks were great too! The all you can eat ribs were tender and delicious!

Great location, very clean and solid service. The food prices were reasonable and the place is quite large. The menu was basic with a mix of sandwiches, burgers, fried food and salads. There was nothing fancy and nothing over $12. All of our meals were average and enjoyable.

If you are looking for something basic with a great view, this is the place.

Boardwalk has a seasoned/professional staff that bends over backwards to accommodate your dining experience. We love the view of the lake and the boats. The food was amazing! We ate there twice within four days, which is impressive because we live 1.5 hours away, and will be back again and again! We had the calamari, pasta pomodoro, chicken saltimbocca, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, nothing disappointed! Mary, one of the hostesses, was so pleasant and funny, we might return strictly for her company!! Tracy our waitress, surprised our 5 year old with a chocolate chip cookie with whip cream on top!! My family and I recommend that the Boardwalk be a stop on your visit to Lake George!!

This [typically wooden-structured] two-story waterfront restaurant has an interesting menu of seafood specialties but not (traditionally recipe-accurate) on the Crab Cakes (too bready), nor on the Clam Strips (too thin and “where are the clams”?), but (at least) the Fish Tacos are superb (ocean-fresh quality!) The service was slow, not accommodating nor friendly). The beers could have been colder (especially for 93⁰ temperatures in July) on their upper terrace and their [nothing-to-brag-about] lemonades could have been tastier.
