“Fast fun”
Reviewed May 25, 2014

It's a reproduction of a landmark of marginal importance but the tour is very family focused and if you're staying in the village there is literally nothing else to do anyway! The kids had fun watching the demonstrations, taking part in the dig, and shooting suction cup arrows...

“Great litle fort full of lots of History”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

This place is smaller than Fort Ticonderoga but it is well worth stopping. It is full of history and run by a great group of history enthusiasts. We got to see a short historical film which was pretty typical for this type of attraction, but the film was followed by a firearms demonstration, a demonstration of what a grenedier did and a demonstration of the firing of a cannon. Our guides were great and answered all the questions asked of them.

“Ghost Tour at Fort William Henry”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

We love ghost tours, and what a better place than an old fort? It starts outside the gift shop, which is closed so they're not trying to sell you stuff! After getting the group all together the group of guides (about 5) talk briefly about the history of the fort and then an overview of the various paranormal encounters their group has come across. We visited several different areas of the fort and were able to take photos and try EVP sessions. A few people in the group got what looked like some orbs and other anomalies in some images. But I'm still skeptical. It was a fun and different kind of tour of an old fort. The daytime tour is also a must do.
