Nice concept of dark movies reproduction with a few frightening effects. Very well done, long way to go and well worth the cost.

“Pretty Tame”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Not very scary, we expected people to jump at us or be scared a little. It is basically wax figures with some movement.

“Decent Attraction”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

wax sculptures are not so real looking, but i have seen worse, most displays are interactive where you have to hit a button to make the display move or speak. Don't be in a rush as some of them take time to start and they run for awhile. Hard to get kids to stay and watch once they have seen the sculptures, they just want to rush to the next thing. Sound could be louder so you can here what the display is saying. Some light shows, strobe, and loud noises to get the hair to stand up on the back of your neck. The last thing you walk through may make you sick as it is a tube with star like thing going in circles so when you enter it you feel as though you are walking side ways and makes you dizzy quick. It is only like 6' long walkway.

“It was pretty fun, in a cheesy way.”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

As long as you don't take it too seriously, you can have some fun with this place. There are some cool and pretty Gothic wax exhibits. Our favorite was the guy in the execution chamber! As others have said, some things are so B-grade horror movie-like that they are comedic, which is fun, too.

You may not want to bring really young kids in because the imagery is a little bit harsh. There are scenes of murder and torture that might not be appropriate.

Would I do it again? No, but it wasn't terribly expensive, either. We did it to burn some time, and we didn't regret it.
