Owner description: During a 1791 visit, Thomas Jefferson was moved to say, "Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw." Not much has changed. Today this 32-mile long, 3-mile wide dazzling lake draws vactioners who come to enjoy a plethora of outdoor endeavors including sailing, swimming, cruising on historic steamboats, hiking and more.

Terrific getaway. I loved my trip to Lake George. Went biking, boating, walking, shopping and relaxed and enjoyed beautiful views. Great place, I didn't want to leave. The town of Bolton is adorable as well.

I visited the city of Lake George with my wife and sister and her two teens. While their we took a boat cruise and visited Fort William Henry. The City and surrounding area if filled with fun things to do of all kinds and for all ages! Boat rides jet ski rental, parasailing , swimming, hiking you name it and they probably have it.

We had 2 seniors, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and an 8 year old. We had a blast. Lots to do in the area. The strip in lake george village has plenty if restaurants for all tastes, plenty of shops, supermarket, arcades for games, parks and plenty of amusement places. There are amusement parks including six flags great escape and plenty to do for all ages. We rented a boat, went tubing and fishing and sightseeing. There is nearby water rafting and historical forts to visit. Bring plenty of $$ because you will need it. We stayed at cabin style place. The place and cabins were very worn and dated but the kids had fun because we were never in the cabin. Even when its raining there is stuff to do. Overall a really good place for the whole family. We will definitely be back.
