We go up w/ a lot of families from our area each year - not the most stellar accommodations, but do-able, IF you bring your own sheets, etc. Not exactly the Hyatt or Four Seasons - nevermind even a Holiday Inn or Marriott
Mind you, a tree fell down (and almost killed) some of my friends in a cabin a couple of years ago while they were sleeping - I guess the trees aren't looked after.
The staff IS rude, and very un-accommodating.
Cabins are nothing special, but this place serves our purpose - come up, have a good time, party, and pass out.
I would NEVER plan a family vacation there
BUT... as long as my husband and I have our "fun shoes" on, and no kids, and clean sheets - it's ok by me on a fun weekend! Live it up!
