“small swimming area.”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

the area to swim has no raft to swim out to and floatation devices are not allowed; sand is very course, not very comfortable to sit for a long period of time. not a very large beach area; the bath house was a good feature. parking was close by.

“Nice but the fence should go...”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

The Million Dollar Beach at Lake George is a nice beach for a lake; Nice facilities, clean beach and lifeguards are all nice. The beach itself can be crowded on weekends but nice on weekdays. You get a great view from the beach of the Village of Lake George and the mountains. The only real negative is the ugly prison like fence that surrounds the beach. Lake George should take a page from New Jersey beaches that have beach tags and get rid of the fence. The fence not only ruins a nice beach but doesn't fit with the area.

Soft sand, clean and close to village. Great lake experience for families and for couples. Would come again any chance I get!

“A little crowded.........but theres always a place for your blanket”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

Nice and clean facility, water showers to clean off the sand, bathrooms Inside the structure, so no roaming around for an hr looking for a bathroom. Clean beach, and surprised at no loud radios or noise...just a pleasant day to cool off and watch the boats come and go.

“Can be a little crowed”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

There was no fee when I was there. This beach can get crowded. There are decent facilities with showers and lockers. The water was a little cold in May.
