From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with open arms. Everyone was so friendly and nice. We had to wait a few minutes while they prepared our table so we saat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive to our needs and let us sample the wines until we found just the right one. After we were seated the service couldn't have been better. The soups and salad very good. We split two of the dinner entrees, the short ribs and the lamb chops. Both were done to perfection and followed with the cheese cake sampler. Can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed an amazing meal. The ahi tuna appetizer was excellent. We ordered three of the small sized entrée, all of which were excellent, although the scallops were my favorite. Great service and food was served in a timely manner.

My wife and i took her stepmom and husband here for her Birthday. So the 4 of us started out with a cocktail and then placed our orders.

We each ordered a salad, soup or starter to begin with:
- French Onion (Delicious)
- Crab Cake (Fried, tons of crab and very tasty)
- Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad (she said the Honey Cashew Dressing was the best dressing she's ever had)
- Stuffed Poached Pear Salad (My wife raved about the salad)

For the main course we all ordered the small plate portion:
- Black Angus Burger (ordered rare and arrived rare! fries are to die for and burger was great)
- Crispy Eggplant (Fried, loved it)
- Seared Sea Scallops (awesome scallops)
- Red Wine Braised Beef Short Ribs (i got the short ribs and they were great, but i've decided i'm not a big short rib fan anymore)

For everyone the small plate portion was more than enough and it's the perfect size if you get a starter/app or salad to begin with.

Being that it was my stepmother in-laws birthday, Le Roux provides a courtesy dessert for the birthday gal. 3 of us got dessert:
- Chocolate Lava Cake with Peanut Butter Ice Cream (i guess it was good, it was gone before i had a chance to see it!!!)
- 2 Chocolate Bread Puddings (not bad, but i should have gotten the Lava cake!)

Our waitress was a sweetheart, very helpful with the menu and very attentive to us. All and all everyone loved our experience at LeRoux and can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.

make that one restaurant Bistro LeRoux. Set three miles out of town heading east sits a charming, warm and inviting location which serves travellers and locals each in abundant portions. Our visit on a cold saturday evening right before Christmas found rooms full of happy patrons enjoying the excellent food and gracious service.
The owners were visible and present during the evening and were clearly used to greeting long time friends and customers.
The trained Chef does an amazing job. My braised short ribs were amazing and the salads were very interesting. They offer most entrees as small or large plates allowing you to spare the bank account and leave with a full but not overly stuffed stomach. I only wish I lived near here so I too could become a regular.

When a husband and wife are both high level chefs, and they own a restaurant which they started a couple of years ago, how do -you- think it might rate? Right ! Very near the top of most any list.

Gustatory delight is something rare in the Adks, IMHO, but this place is a notable exception and the parking lot is full most weekend nights. Many customers drive 60 miles or more to eat here - for good reason.

We held our office Christmas party here and unsurprisingly, everyone was delighted. I also eat here from time to time with my wife.

I just wish they were open for lunch in the off-season but they are not. (not so sure if they are in the summer or not) This location was the site of 3 previous failed restaurants that I can remember. If LeRoux ever leaves here, it will only be because they outgrew it.
