Antigua Resort on Plum Point
Reviewed June 30, 2011

So we (my family and I) just came back from spending 4 days at the Antigua Resort and it was absolutely beautiful! Our room was really nice & spacious, there were plenty of supplies (pots, pans, dishes, utensils...etc.) provided for us, and the best part of all was the views! Awesome sunsets! We would definitely go here for vacation again!

My husband and I just returned from the Antigua on Plum Point, Lake George. We had a great time. The resort is on the East side of lake about 3 miles from Lake George Village. We've stayed at several resorts in the recent past and this has topped the list.

We had the Plum Room. (honeymoon suite) Up an odd staircase (Ghost Hunters???) to our bacony room w/ jacuzzi, overlooking the lake. There was no noise from our neighbors, and the resort had plenty to offer. Canoeing, horse shoes, ping pong & badminton, a sandy beach for swimming (although we didn't), bbq pits, a gazebo, boat house & docks, plus on Plum Point....it was a fabulous view. (south to the Village & north to Bolton Landing).

The kitchen was well stocked and included a refrig/freezer, micro, & 4 burner elec. stove. Extra cabinet space & a nice little kitchen table. The bathroom overlooked a small cove & had a separate shower plus jacuzzie tub.

Easy to get to and far better than anything in the Village !!

There wasn't any shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer or coffee for the coffee-maker, so bring your own.

Beautiful Spot!!!

A beautiful resort on the quiet side of Lake George. Short drive to the Village. The owners are very nice and the best part is the sun in the afternoon, a great place to just get away and relax. Have been going there for several years now, we love it. Many improvements to the units over the past few years. Great fishing too. Band plays once a week during the summer and a fire going most nights!

Hotel is right on the lake in a nice park-like setting. It's in a quite section surrounded by private homes, yet it's only a 5 minute drive to Lake George Village.

We spent a lot of time in the gazebo listening to the wavers and watching the boaters. Great place to relax.

Although the water is very clean, the swimming area is pretty small and is only suitable for younger children.

The unit we stayed in had two separate bedrooms plus a full kichen. Definitely a plus when traveling with two teenagers. The rooms showed some wear and tear but were clean. This is not a 4 star resort but the location is great.

Serene views of lake. Peaceful area. Loved the scenes, resort is right on the edge of it all. Water area was clean, nice area for jumping in. Trees layout made it park-like setting. Very natural. Gas grills were somewhat functional. Needed to torch lt to get started, also not clean. On the other hand, the units were impeccably clean. Kitchen had everything, even dishwashing liquid & towels. Bathroom shower lacked power. Beds were comfortable. Second bedroom lacked air conditioner, only ceiling fan. Air conditioner in living room, though.
Overall, would stay again.
