While at the outlets needed to get some lunch so we tried Olde Post. Was very impressed with the food.We both had the a salad ,it had barbeque chicken smothering the top of salad, was awesome. The lady next to us had a bacon cheeseburger,it looked great, with onion rings and heard her saying that it was tasting very good. This place holds it own with any other place I ve been to in the Lake George area and will make sure it stop in again the next time in area...The service was a little slow but the waiter was otherwise very good...

Just left one of the top three worst dining experiences in my 64 year old life. It would take too long to tell you how many things were wrong with our meal. Out of our party of four, no one got exactly what they ordered. One of our party ordered a patty melt, medium well. When it finally came out, it was medium rare to rare. When our waitress finally came back (I was at least one third of the way through my meal) to check on us, she took it back and, about 15 minutes later brought out another medium rare burger. When she came back about 10 minutes later we showed her the rare burger. She apologized and wanted to take it back again. Since the rest of us were finished with our meal, my buddy said no to the burger but asked if he could get Mac and Cheese instead. Sure. 10 minutes later she came back and asked if her manager had stopped by our table yet. No, he hadn't. Well the kitchen won't fix you anything else until he approves it. Okay. We don't want anything else then. That was just one example of the way the whole meal went. Cold fries, fries instead of cole slaw. Ordered Shepard's pie. 10 minutes later...we're out of Shepard's pie. No big deal except the table behind us ordered Shepard's pie about 20 minutes after we were told they didn't have anymore. Since the waitress never came back and told them anything different, we assumed they were going to get theirs. We didn't wait around another 30 minutes to see. Never did see a manager. Our server did point out (3 times) that she wasn't charging us for food we never got. How generous of her.

We used to come here years ago when Walter was the chef. May God rest his soul. Recently passed away. I agree with a previous guest, the omelette maker is worse than a grouch. Also like they said too much oil and too much in it. Not cooked enough. Pancakes cold, assorted fruit was only one fruit. Very dirty dining room. When the bill came it was $18.00 for 2 buffets, and $6.00 for 2 coffee's that is a big rip off. They should tell you coffee not included. We will never go there again. It does not matter if you have 20% off ! Just not worth it. So stay away.

We visited on a slow monday night..our waiter was very good. All the food was good and came out hot. The wings were the only complaint very soggy and undercooked. A lot of variety on menu.
