This place is the real deal, if you are looking for fun fall activity. Apple picking, hayride, lots of stuff for kids, fun for the whole family, even grandma.
They have a small cafe for a quick bite, and a tasting room for the adults. I would definitely recommend.

What an awesome place! We spent a wonderful afternoon here. We had a great lunch, picked apples and shopped at the general store. Also picked up a delicious apple pie in the bakery. Parking was easy. The line to go to orchards moved fast. This place also has a tasting room for adults and activities like pony rides for the kids. Great place with something for everyone. Would highly recommend.

When my son and his wife insisted that we go apple picking with the kids. I was not very excited but I did not have many options. We left Cicero and travel through the beautiful upstate NY hillsides. Great views and interesting sights along the way. I was not prepared for the size of the operation and the various activities including hard cider and vodka tasting (yes that's right). You buy your ticket and get comfortable on the flatbed trailer being pulled by the John Deere tractor to your designated apple picking rows. You pass literally thousands of apples trees on your way and have fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. Picking the apples becomes a bit of an obsession and the kids search for the just perfect apple. You return on the same flatbed and then enter the 1911 Distillery for tasting the on-site distilled hard ciders and vodkas - all made form apples harvested on the farm. You top the day off with a homemade apple muffin and head home with a great experience - try it out.

As you drive in you see the bright red barns. Parking is easy and from there you can pick your own apples or choose from those ready for purchase. If hungry you also have food options and of course the country store is worth the browse.
