If you're in uptown Kingston, this is worth a visit. The restaurant is in one of the city's oldest buildings.

Menu is pedestrian, and portions are enormous. We ate outside in part because the inside was dark and noisy. Service was just fine. Not worth the cost.

We entered the restaurant thru the flowery garden and the patio dining area. The parking lot is ample and steps away from the building. We were seated next to an ancient hearth adorned with an old rifle (shown in their photo gallery). The room has huge wooden beams, WIDE floorboards and thick walls, typical of stone houses in our region. Spacing between tables was good, so we weren't eavesdropping.
Our server was prompt and well versed on the menu selections. We chose duck and steak entrees which were great. LARGE portions. Nice tossed salad with a wide choice of dressings. Whipped and raspberry flavored butters came with the bread basket. We were too full for desserts or coffee.
Little traffic bottleneck around the bar, but things like that must be expected and tolerated in a building that old. A very minor detail. We enjoyed our dinners, and would like to return. Their website photos depict the actual restaurant.
