Our first visit to Savona's did not disappoint and we would go back for a number of reasons: the waitstaff was friendly, attentive and well-orchestrated. When our waitress couldn't get to our table fast enough because the restaurant was crowded, the hostess promptly got us drinks and took our order. Dishes were served and plates removed efficiently and unnoticeably. For that reason, we were able to enjoy our wine and food and be oblivious to the full house and activity. We ordered off the special prix fixe menu ($20) (bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers, ravioli stuffed with broccoli rabe and italian sausage and chicken/portabello cannelloni with a gorgonzola sauce for entrees and a brownie with vanilla gelato and bread pudding with Limoncello sauce for dessert.) Every bite was delicious, serving size was very generous, and the hot food was piping hot. We split a dessert and took the other one with us because we couldn't eat one more bite. I can understand that some people found it noisy, but my husband, who has some hearing loss, was not complaining and that's usually the first thing he notices.
