“Kingston NY Mini Vacation”
Reviewed August 9, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This is a very nice 3 room apartment on the 3rd floor of an old building. The 1st floor is an antique shop that is only open by appointment. I stayed on the 3rd floor, the stairs (only way to get there are not handicap acceptable) are quite steep. Most of the furnishings are from the shop, family's with small children need to be advised. There is a futon for 2 and a queen bed also. It is 3 blocks from the waterfront and restaurants. It is very clean and fully equipped with all the necessities. The fire escape is through the kitchen window you have to be able to climb over the sink. There is on street parking only. We used the apartment as a base to see the area sites, we ate breakfast (supplied by us) and left for the day.

Management Response

Thank you for your review. It's true we are an old historic building (1820's) in a historic district and our decor maintains that same spirit. For most of our guests, the steep stairs and no fire escapes are part of the authenticity and charm they are looking for. We do appreciate you making note of how clean our suites are as we work very hard to keep our suites spotless!
