Complementary breakfast came awesome menu - just loved it. Area is very nice, quite and safe. Staff was courteous and friendly. We checked in pretty late and even that for one night only. Parking appeared a bit tight as I had to park in the area behind the main building - still part of the hotel though - but some typical new-comer's jittery feelings, nothing big!

This was a small, but clean no-frills hotel that is conveniently located near a major mall and many supermarkets, stores and restaurants. Despite it's location in a commercial area, our room was very quiet. The room was a decent size and the beds were some of the most comfortable of any hotel that I have ever stayed at (I think it was the Tempur-Pedic type mattress)...

I did take away one star rating because we had to wait approximately 20 minutes to check into the hotel. This was due to the front desk person who was on the phone with a person who had called about information about getting a room and she was unable to accommodate their specific needs. Apparently the other person was upset and instead of getting the person's number for management to follow up with, or giving the person on the line the number to La Quinta corporate, she stayed on the phone saying "I understand, I understand" for 20 minutes while a line of people waited out the door to check in She had absolutely no ability to terminate the call or move along the conversation, despite the obvious annoyance of the people waiting (several with small tired children). Unfortunately, this hotel only has one person working at a time and is therefore unprepared for situations such as this. There was also a clear lack of assertiveness on the part of the employee, which contributed to the wait.There was little to any apology or acknowledgement of the wait to the guests in the lobby after the phone call ended other than "I'm sorry-he was mad-I couldn't help it".

Aside from that annoyance, the rest of the stay was satisfactory...The breakfast wasn't that great, but was free so can't complain. There is a Wegman's across the street with a coffee bar near the entrance which was a plus :-)

The hotel itself was wonderful. Stephanie was wonderful at letting me know what was in the area to do and about the local Church for Sunday service. The Miniature Golf place she recommended was a lot of fun. The manager that was working Saturday 6/15/13 was a pleasure to walk with. The following day, Heather did my check out and let me come back to the hotel to change out of church clothes into jean in the public restroom even though I was already checked out. Heather also was wonderful after the not so pleasant experience at the Court Jester. She let me go in the common room to watch television while waiting on my Husband to finish his schooling at 5pm. I was already checked out with no place to go for a few hours on a rainy day.

The Court Jester offers a pool and work out room complimentary to staying at the hotel. The lockers in the women's rest room do not have locks provided. Guests are expected to bring a lock from home. I was not willing to leave my ID and credit card along with my car keys in an unlocked locker. Leaving this in my car (as suggested by Court Jester staff) was not an option either.

We stay at LQ as often as possible due to their great pet policy, and a definate plus is the excellence of the facilities themselves. This motel was no exception to the LQ rule- clean, quiet,
modern, and this one has a nice pet area (a town park really) right out the front door. Granted there are roads on two sides of this long, narrowish grassy park, but if your pet responds to your commands or is on a leash- no problem. Thanks LQ
