When visiting Ndola for work I always try to stay here. The accommodation is safe and secure and the rooms are neat and well furnished. The service is excellent! The only negative is the sponge mattresses that are a bit worn out. Otherwise i have no gripes. The en-suite bathrooms are clean, there is DSTV in the rooms as well as a well stocked bar fridge. Enjoy the local Mosi Lager next to one of the two swimming pools !

Have stayed a few times and think it's ok. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, if a little dark. Meal service is good, though some things that appear on the menu are consistently unavailable. If you don't want a cooked breakfast, then you'll struggle as the alternatives are very limited. The Tuscan-themed decor may be a tad pretentious for some tastes. Bearing in mind that this is a remote mining town, I think this place does quite well, but if you lifted it up and dropped it into Lusaka, then it would suffer badly by comparison with its peers.

This has to be the most outstanding form of accommodation in the whole northern region of Zambia! The service is pleasant, friendly and so quick. The rooms make you feel like you are in europe and the breakfasts are divine; the amount they serve and offer is truly outstanding considering that the town is so small and limited. The cleanliness of the rooms and restaurant is a breathe of fresh air, its clear that hygiene is top of managements list daily. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay at this lodge. Thank you to the whole team for the brilliant stay.

Dissappointed by the room, light switches broken, carpets dirty, Kettle in a shocking state had not been cleaned or water emptied for months. It was unusable as filled with rust.
Transport booked to airport and paid for never arrived. Security guard had to flag a passing taxi at 6am!
The rooms are close to the kitchen and a truck sized extractor fan gets switched on at 9:30 at night and the noise is deafening. .
There is a kitchen rubbish bin outside room, with staff depositing peelings and kitchen rubbish, without putting a lid on it (there was no lid).
TV channels advertised are not available and the TV was ancient and only shows a small letterbox screen.
No guest questionnaire to point out shortcomings, reception staff were apathetic when dealing with guests.

This hotel looks tatty, and is in need of a re-vamp. The rate of K700 for a 'deluxe' room seems excessive - if you could call it deluxe. The beds were uncomfortable and the room lighting very poor. Communication between guests and staff at breakfast was seriously lacking, and guests where left wondering how to get their breakfast. The lack of competition in Ndola and the proximity of this hotel to Ndola airport is an advantage to them, and probably the only reason it is still going. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very clean.
My room had no mosquito net however.
The personnel is sometimes nice sometimes not - depending on the days.
TV and Internet were terrible (Internet is horribly expensive and you can only have 1 hour vouchers - Also, the connexion is quite bad) and breakfast was really really poor. If you don't eat eggs & bacon, then you won't eat a lot.

I did not stay here (spent 2 weeks at Mukuba) but had a lovely supper here. We were about 20 people and everybody enjoyed the food. Prices are reasonable, the only distraction was the noisy generator during part of our meal while the city electrical power failed (an all too common occurance.
