“Enjoyed the Museum”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

Having visited the Copperbelt several times, we were excited to have time to visit the Copperbelt Museum. They have a large variety of displays about life in that area, not just about copper. The first floor deals primarily with the geological aspects and the second floor has more about other parts of the life of the area, including toys made by children. The gift shop has a nice array of items indicative of that area, including copper relief pictures. The staff was gracious. The price of entry was reasonable.

“Copperbelt Museum Needs More Work”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The Copperbelt museum is a good idea but it not well funded. Exhibits have not changed for almost 20 years. If you are visiting Ndola for the first time it is well worth a look should not take you more than half an hour.

“Rare opportunity for info on Copper mining”
Reviewed December 24, 2008

The coperbelt museum is worth a visit only if you are interested in the proccess of copper mining and processing. It explains simly the process but there is nothing more to it. If you are traveling in the copperbelt region, you should be aware that this area (icluding the DRC tonge) produces almost half of the copper in the world
