“Over-priced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2014

I stayed there for 2 weeks at Easter 2014.
Friendly staff, bungalow in good condition, but that's incredibly unfair that when you check-in, for the price you've paid (I was in the Dragon bungalow), you are said:

1- Cleaning of your room is not included. Only once... a week! And you have to ask for...

2- You have to pay 20 euros per week if you want to get a wifi connection which doesn't work cause of its slowness. Imagine => 20 euros x 75pax x 4 weeks = 6000 euros/month profit. It was so slow that it was impossible to get important attach files in my emails. Totally scandalous.

3- The storage for your gears is an extra 30euros/week given that... Storing equipment in your bungalow is strictly forbidden by the management! A good trap uh?

When this resort offers all the services below, it will probably be a good value. At this moment it is obvious that the management is much too greedy and has planned to get profit from the golden eggs goose a bit too quickly.

Spent 8 days at Attitude
Accommodation (VIP suite) was great. Good value for money.
Food was boarding school quality. Not good.
Sports Center staff were very much below par. Not at all helpful.
Unfortunately the royal family was there for 3 of our 8 days. They got all attention so it was not possible to do extras like kiting to White Dune and in the sea. I can understand that Attitude needed to impress the family, but they should also have catered for their paying guests. If they were going to be short staffed during the visit, they should have made a plan.
The royal family also took over the only recreational center and the cable park.
Kiting rental very, very expensive.
Not overly impressed.
Will look for alternative venue

We had a great week at the Dakhla attitude hotel.
The Royal family was there at the same time ;-) but still the atmosphere was mica and calm.
Wind almost every day, great surfing, and good teachers.

We will come back for sure!

Room Tip: We had the junior suite, and it was amazing. Nice view!!!

Majestic... Incredibly friendly. They don't nickel and dime you. Not a budget experience but you are in the Sahara and if you want comfort, hot showers, great food, great staff and a kiters paradise... This is where you come. Where else do you have a cable park if the wind shuts down? Can't wait to come back. Make sure to hit the speed spot and get a Hamam and massage...

Dakhla Attitude is in an amazing location. I was a beginner kite surfer and the teachers were very good, clear and patient! Unfortunately during our week's stay the wind was not consistently strong enough to allow us to use all our lessons.
The food was delicious, often tagine type meals or grilled meat. The accommodation was very basic but clean. The only thing I would say was that the beds were quite hard, though this might change if you had a more expensive room. All in all a very exceptional holiday.

Nothing bad to say about the location nore the kite experience. But if you are looking for a stress free money free kind of attitude they advocate the extreme opposite . It seems that they don't care that much if you had a good experience or not but rather focus on how many people they can lodge and how much money they can make. Other then that the staff is really friendly but don't expect the people in the administration office to be that friendly . Their objectif is lean solly toward charging you the max before you leave . Be aware if your a kite amateur looking to have a pleasant time and not have to constantly be money harassed. Their Magic as they claim it ... just stops there.

This the most amazing place, remote, rustic, tranquillo. The lagoon is safe and perfect for learning to kite. There did seem to be a certain apathy to lessons, but when we did finally get a lesson the instructor, Kamal, was really good. Unfortunately the wind was lacking for the whole of our week and we only had 2.5hrs on the water. We did start to get bored and it was a real shame the kite school didn't make us aware that, excluding wake boarding, you could use the other equipment free of charge if you were booked for lessons and there was no wind. Be warned that the accommodation really is basic, but adequate if you are there for kiting. If you like a decent towel then take your own. We stayed in the Windhunter bungalows. The food is typically Moroccan and I thought it was good, not gourmet. The drinks were sensibly priced. Take a torch and a couple of books.

Room Tip: The Windhunters were ok but there are VIP bungalows

Between the Atlantic and the desert, a long sand area has come to dive into the sea. The lagoon has thus received within it the nests of thousands of migrating birds. Overlooking this long chain of sparkling sand dunes, gulls and cormorants try to catch sea-breams for fishermen and tease the men who attempt with their multicolored sails to take speed from the omnipresent wind. Once repelled, they take delight of the spectacle of humpback dolphins. The endless wind that blows over the peninsula makes Dakhla Attitude the perfect place for an amazing kitesurf or windsurf vacation. Perfect wave spots on the Atlantic coast will give surfers perfect waves and breathtaking sunsets. Wake-boarding, SUP, kayak, fishing...
