“Kitchen Excels”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2011

Have dined here a number of times and without fail have always enjoyed both the food and ambiance . Menu will change with season and availability of local resources but always with skill and depth . This time we enjoyed sea bass over root veggies with a citrus based sauce. So fresh and rich! Sometimes the wait staff will tend to falter when there is a full house but the kitchen more then makes up for their shortfall.

“Elegant and friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2011

We chose this place based on a tourist map, and it turned out to be a great choice. The dinner was expensive (about $110 for two with wine and a shared dessert, NOT including tip), but for a special occasion it was worth it. The service was friendly, helpful, and not snobbish. Food was excellent and we especially enjoyed the selection of local North Fork wines. On our way out the staff encouraged us to look around the art gallery upstairs. The building is a beautifully rebuilt 19th-century mansion (the original burned down a few years ago) and it's located on a country road where you can see horses at pasture and vineyards.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2011

We went to Jamesport Manor Inn for our anniversary. It was just wonderful. It's a beautiful fully restored (actually rebuilt because it was destroyed by fire in 2005) inn. The food is farm fresh and the menu changes to reflect the season's availability. Although the restaurant was full, the tables are spaced so that you have room to yourself and it is quiet enough to hear each other! From salad to dessert, it was lovely and well worth the visit.I had sea bass and my husband had bbq ribs and scallops. The food was delicious and service was attentive. Because I told them it was our anniversary when we booked, they served us complimentary champagne. We will definitely be back.

“Hidden North Fork Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2011

My husband & I decided to try out this restaurant based on the other reviews & am glad we did!! It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth visiting. They are offering a pre-fixed price of $35 for the summer months which includes appetizer, entree and a dessert. We both had the Goat Cheese Organic Chicken with Maple Acorn Squash puree & it was absolutely amazing! For dessert we both had the Chocolate Terrine which was oh so delicious. Very nice portion sizes too! Our server was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

“Great Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2011

Some friends and I recently dined at the Jamesport Manor Inn. It was quite good. Both the service and food were excellent. The setting in an old, restored house provided great ambiance. It is a perfect setting for a romantic dinner, business dinner, or other special occasion. I would highly reccomend this restaurant.
