I don't normally write reviews, but my husband and I had such a terrific experience at Jedediah that I felt compelled to write! We stayed one night in the Belvedere suite which is stunningly beautiful and romantic. Dinner was outstanding and the service impeccable. Breakfast is wonderfully low key and lazy, so make sure to relax with the paper and a second cup of coffee. And if you like croissants, boy are you in for a treat! Many thanks go to the fantastic manager, Colin, who truly ensured all of our needs were met. I cannot wait to return!

Room Tip: If you don't mind the stairs, choose the Belvedere!

We had planned to attend Harvest East End for months but decided somewhat last minute to stay overnight to avoid a late night drive home. Our options were limited but we were lucky to find the Jedediah Hawkins Inn in Jamesport.

I have stayed in beautiful hotels, dined at wonderful restaurants and experienced friendly excellent service but never have I found all this in one place. From the driveway up to the door to the room itself there, we were presented with one beautiful sight after another. Nothing was just ok, it was all exceptional.

The relationships Jedediah Hawkins has with the local businesses including the award winning vineyards make wine tasting a must. The local beaches are peaceful and close by.

Colin’s croissants at breakfast will spoil even the snobbiest Frenchman. You will need at long walk after the Lazy Bones breakfast. The staff and owner Leah were so friendly and helpful it was like visiting old friends. We are already planning an off season visit for this perfect weekend getaway.

Room Tip: Each room has a different design and personality, ask to see all of them. You won’t be disappointed...

I couldn't have asked for a better stay! This was our first time staying at a B&B and we were alittle unsure if we would like it. The staff, especially Colin, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The room was immaculate and the location is prime to explore the North Fork. Make sure to have a late night glass of wine at their quaint bar. We will be back in the fall!

Ottimo menu a cena e tre portate a collazione.

Strolling by car in North Fork, Long Island, we spotted this spectacular Jedediah Hawkins Inn.
The Villa of the past is maintained as a piece of art. Each room has its own history and style. The hall, dining room and veranda for breakfast are furnished with great taste. Great menu for dinner and handmade three-course breakfast.
Reception, waiters and manager Colin are excellent.
The fountain, lawns, gazebo with flowers, garden with vineyard are lovingly cared, and the adjacent building, hosts art’s exhibitions.
Really beautiful place for who will discover the Wine city and earth’s products of the great North Fork.

My husband and I just returned from a night's stay at the above-mentioned
inn in Jamesport, New York. It was fabulous!!!!! The celebration of our
45th wedding anniversary was completely enhanced by the beauty of the inn, as
well as the staff and, of course, the cuisine.

We were first met by Liz at the Front Desk, whose warm,
smiling welcome signaled the beginning of a beautiful, memorable stay!

We then met Harry as we sat at the bar for before dinner
drinks. What a lovely, pleasant, personable young man! I would adopt him
if I could!

Thomas was our waiter at dinner.......it must be hard to live
up to the standard of the afore-mentioned staff members, but Thomas
exceeded our expectations! As did his look-alike brother, Nicholas!

Shannon relieved Liz for the Front Desk duties, and, yes, she
was every bit as pleasant and happy as her co-workers!

Colin, the Manager of the Jedediah Hawlins Inn, is remarkable in his own
right! He obviously knows how to manage a Bed and Breakfast with great
aplomb. He has instilled in his staff all that is necessary to keep everyone
happy....including his employees who genuinely seem to love what they do!

It is very hard to express exactly what made The Jedediah Hawkins such a
special place; I just believe that the combination of the people, trained
staff, cuisine and exceptional beauty of the inn and its grounds ,coalesce to
create an atmosphere of warmth, happiness (both for the guests and FROM the
staff) and a desire to return for another wonderful experience!

We rate this inn an A+!
