As a Diamond member I stay at Hilton branded hotels almost exclusively. Due to a missed connection I ended up staying one night(only seven hours, actually) at this hotel.

I found the front desk staff to be somewhat harried and not especially welcoming although they weren't busy. There was no staffed separate line for Hhonors members and the fellow who checked me in didn't acknowledge my status. When he gave me the key to my room, it was not on the executive floor despite the fact that I later found that these rooms were available. He did not mention that my key would grant me access to the executive lounge for breakfast until I called from the room to ask. He snapped at me that the lounge was already closed that evening before I was able to ask him about the opening time for the lounge in the AM.

These might sound like silly complaints, but many of us are brand-loyal just to obtain these perks that make traveling easier and more pleasant, and these amenities (and polish and courtesy) were lacking that evening.

The room itself was clean and comfortable and although the HVAC system isn't quiet it didn't bother me. There was a large modern TV, a comfy king-sized bed, adequate work space, a spacious bathroom with plenty of towels. The hotel is well insulated from aircraft noise.

The executive lounge is nicely appointed and has a solid breakfast with a few hot options although not up to top Hilton standard. The staff there is lovely and polite.

The hotel shuttle backs up a lot and it is packed, so make sure you show up early. The driver was courteous and professional and the hotel summoned overflow shuttles for leftover guests.

This must be one if the nicer, cleaner more modern hotels close to the terminals. Allow about 15 mins to the terminals on the shuttle. Room was spacious, modern and very clean. Bar looked nice and busy when I checked in but I had an early flight so just went straight to bed.

I'm a frequent business and pleasure traveler. I have stayed at this hotel almost every time I fly out of JFK airport. It's a 15 minute ride on the free shuttle bus to any terminal at JFK. First of all, the hotel is great-newly renovated, clean, modern, updated. The rooms are modern and there are about a dozen power outlets in each room to charge your phone, laptop, etc; so you can tell it's new. The indoor heated pool is wonderful. My kids loved it. The "Spa" rating was for the pool.

The restaurant is very good, especially for a hotel restaurant. I always eat in here. Dana, the bartender/server is absolutely incredible. Professional, friendly, personable. I told her I haven't had service so good in 20 years. If I owned my own bar/restaurant, I'd snatch her away. She is the best server in the bar/restaurant by far. Sit at the bar for best service.

All in all, a great hotel for the business or leisure traveler. I highly recommend it, and I will certainly return very soon.

We found this hotel be clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaint has to do with the heating - it is unbelievably noisy. We slept very poorly last night as we were awakened every time the heat came on - sounded like Niagara Falls. DO NOT stay on the executive floor! What a rip off that was! The executive lounge was an absolute joke. I wish I had better things to say about this place - but the bitter truth is that we cannot recommend this hotel.

Landed here on a grim night after 6 hours of flight delays capped by cancellation. Staff couldn't have been nicer, especially Adrienne at the front desk who solved every issue I had (web access, no toothbrush, etc.) Property is a little tired (old, noisy HVAC systems in room) for a Hilton but clean and well maintained. Free shuttle service to the airport helps with the expense acct., as does the free breakfast in the executive lounge. Very close to the runways so if you need silence to sleep this is not a great option.

I've stayed here twice in the past 2 weeks, both times I arrived late and had an early connection so can't really comment too much on what it would be like to stay here for a longer duration, but for a hotel close to JFK for a few hours it was fine. Hence my review score.

Had to stay because of flight cancellations - met all the requirements. Food was good, room was comfortable. Remarkably quiet considering it is within a mile of a very busy airport. Staff was attentive and helpful, and the airport shuttle was timely
