“Could not have been better”

We stayed there as part of their Stay and Fly Program. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and assisted with our luggage. I was immediately impressed with the personal service of a hotel near JFK. The Inn actually felt like a "boutique hotel." The staff at the front desk was more than helpful. The room that we had was very clean and comfortable and the dinner at the Inn's restaurant was very good. The van service to JFK was efficient. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The front desk was extremely helpful, and always greeted you professionally. The service and food were excellent for breakfast, and at the bar in the evening. The location did not easily lend itself to restaurants, but we had such a positive experience with the personnel at the hotel, it did not matter. We would certainly stay there again, and recommend the facility highly. The service is top notch.

Stayed for 2 nights, all staff were extremely helpful and polite, with customer service to the fore front at all times. Rooms were very clean and tidy. No complaints, would definitely stay here again because of the above reasons. Thanks again to all the staff, especially "Larissa" at the front desk.

counter staff were great at answer any question. nobody was rude. night time security, seemed to be snooze security, if you know what i mean. overall rooms were clean and bed was comfy due to the adjustable bed comfort control.

I needed a (preferably Hilton) hotel with airport shuttle near JFK for one night and was very happy to end up here. Everything was up to HGI standard; the staff was very nice and I would return.
To pick up the shuttle at the airport you need to take the JFK Airtrain to the Federal Circle station. The shuttle (either HGI or Sheraton) was there for me.
Departing the hotel, they take you directly to your terminal.

I was ready to give 5 stars and praise this property but 3 of the 4 meals I had took way too long. Thats becasue the kitchen staff was busy at the window talking to other employees and friends while business customers with flights to catch and places to go we're ignored. The staff spends way too much time hanging out at this place. Not to mention 2 of the 3 meals were not even what I ordered. The room was great, good internet too.

If your looking for a luxury hotel, this is not the place. I only give it a 3 because the Four Seasons is a five. If you have a long layover, like my family did - arriving at 5:30 p.m. from London with a 6:50 a.m. departure for New Orleans - This is an excellent option, and I give it a 5 for that. All of the staff were great. Obviously very well managed. The shuttle took us right to the terminal in the morning. Room service was great for burgers. I don't think I'd bother with the $30 steak, but the burgers were very good. Rooms were spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
